Welcome to my new web site. Let me tell you a little bit about my works:

Rug hooking is an old art, dating back to the 1800's. Worn out wool clothes were used to make what was called 'mats'.

I have been a Certified McGown teacher since 1972, in the art of rug hooking.

I've demonstrated for twelve years at Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri, Dollywood in Pidgeon Forge, Tennesee for the past 27 years and participated in the Worlds Fair in Knoxville Tennesee in 1985.

My rugs and wall hangings are made from hand dyed 100% woolrick wool and hand hooked.

I Hope that you enjoy my web site, and my gallery.

On this web site, you'll be able to look over Elnora's large selection of finished rugs, wall hangings, the occasional quilt, and anything else that she has going on. This is a unique opportunity to own genuine, hand made art. This art form is quickly disappearing in the United States, and the quality found in Elnora's work is like stepping back in time. Each of the works in her gallery are one of a kind, and of the highest quality. (Yes, you can actually use the rugs in your favorite room, and you don't have to worry about ruining them simply by walking on them.)
